As marketing/design consults, we have to understand the business issues and the tolerance level required for innovation before we suggest ways to innovate. As with all consulting engagement, the more transparency during the process the better the results. Unfortunately, it’s tough for a lot of businesses to “open the kimono” when asking for help.
