Dyson most definitely has done their homework and revitalized a bland, boring market. When our last vacuum needed replaced - I thought it was losing suction - I immediately thought of "never loses suction" and remembered the Dyson brand. After a brief in-store demo, my wife and I bought one. normally, I could of cared less what vacuum we looked at or bought but the Dyson brand stuck in my brain for some reason.

Dyson certainly has done their homework and turned a stale, boring market on it's ear. Normally, a vacuum is a vacuum is a vacuum but when ours needed replaced - because I felt it was losing suction - the Dyson tag of "never loses suction" popped into my mind. After a quick in-store demo, we bought one. Normally, I wouldn't have paid 2 seconds attention to the type of vacuum we looked at or bought.
