LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

Nick Rice photoHi, I'm Nick Rice. I help business people become rainmakers. I'm an accomplished visionary marketing mentor with both corporate and agency experience in marketing, sales, strategic planning, communications and branding.

BACKGROUND

I'm a published author, a Certified Action Plan Marketing Coach and a PMI Certified Project Manager. Put all these together, stir, mix in a shelf full of marketing awards and you've got someone that will provide expert advice, bring out the best in you, and help you develop a customized plan to reach your growth goals.

For over 14 years, I have given marketing and branding advice to solo-preneurs, small/medium-sized firms and large companies like IBM, Sabre, Adobe, Lexmark International, Farmers Insurance, Salvation Army and Dell. I've found my calling helping business owners who want to be seen as an expert in their field learn how to use marketing to make their goals and dreams come true.

Fast Company Magazinemagazine asked me to join their Expert Blogger panel in 2006. And I also author two industry leading blogs: Small Business Branding.com and Strategic Design, an AdAge Power150 Marketing blog. In 2007, I was a co-author of The Age of Conversation, a collaborative business book discussing the power of authentic conversation as a strategic marketing tool.

My unique combination of strategy and action makes me an ideal marketing mentor. I have the ability to see the big picture and help you develop an effective marketing plan—while never forgetting that you must learn new marketing skills and be held accountable to actually grow your business.

THE REAL STORY

Here are the two primary reasons behind my choice to be a marketing mentor. I want to show my children how they can leverage their knowledge and God-given talents to help others while still providing the lifestyle of their choice. Plus, they'll probably want me to pay for their college tuition in a few years. :)
